आज का युवा सरकार से शिकायत नहीं, साझेदारी चाहता है ! | Rajasthan Election

50 years ago, रोटी, कपड़ा और मकान were the top issues amongst the society. The ecosystem has evolved, so as needs. Today Zomato, Flipkart and Housing are things people look for. India is the fastest growing economy in the world, we are evolving, innovating and indeed making a dent on the universe. Youth aka कर्णधार are major stakeholders for this change. Issues like Entrepreneurship, Mental Health, Social Work, Vocational Education, Sharing economy are what the young India talks and cares about. We believe in access more than ownership, collaboration than complaints. Political parties bring their manifesto during elections and do make efforts to implement it during their tenure, however, if ruling party changes, agenda changes, but people and issues are same. We need to work more on systems where governance is not like royalty but more like democracy. Expressed my opinion & expectations on behalf of young entrepreneurs of India, along with an eminent panel of educ...

Independence In India | स्वाधीन - पराधीन

Why is the media here so negative? Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements? We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing success stories but we refuse to acknowledge them. WHY? We are the first in milk production. We are number one in Remote sensing satellites. We are the second largest producer of wheat. We are the second largest producer of rice. Look at Dr. Sudarshan , he has transferred the tribal village into aself-sustaining, self-driving unit. There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters. I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper. It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken place. The Hamas had struck. But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid and a granary. It was this inspiring picture that everyone w...

Pehla Sukh - निर्मल मन, निरोगी तन

Despite the difficulties and the challenges that would cause the most to give up, there are few who dare to think of the well-being and the care for others, and devote them to the service of society & mankind. This post is about a woman, who suffered from cancer,  but after that, she is not only living her life to its fullest but also inspires many with a different perspective towards life. In the year 1999, a woman came to know that she is having cancer,  and it's difficult for her to survive, as the operation was risky & there was  no permanent cure at that time, then she smiled and said: “Don’t worry doctor I already had 6 operations, this would be nothing, just an addition to that number”. She survived and it took 3 years to recover completely,  while there was only her willpower that saved her and gave her the strength to overcome. After that, she decided to devote her life to the cancer patients. Her motive was to break clutter...

100% - शत प्रतिशत

Are you sure? 100% sure? Every day we encounter this question, and we try to respond by yes, no or maybe ; The beauty of life is, it has never ending questions, sometimes answers are in choices or sometimes, it's just situations, but we move on. Ever since I remember about my inquisitive mind and the first set of questions i had in my childhood days like: Why Earth is round? Why can't I fly? Chakras, Tatvas, Mythology and so on.. I did faced many troubles because of this never ending thrust of knowing everything, felt contentment and emptiness at the same time.  With time I understood, how decision making works, In order to decide what you want, first decide what you don't want , and this methodology worked well with me. My education, career, or life partner are some beautiful examples of it. Concluding this blog post by quoting a wonderful poem by Swami Vivekananda, which I read in my school and it literally changed the way I perceive everyth...

Be the Buddha : The Lotus Sutra

The essence of Buddhism is the conviction that we have within us at each moment the ability to overcome any problem or difficulty that we may encounter in life; a capacity to transform any suffering. Our lives possess this power because they are inseparable from the fundamental law that underlies the workings of all life and the universe. Nichiren , the 13th-century Buddhist monk awakened to this law, or principle, and named it “Nam-myoho-renge-kyo.” Through the Buddhist practice he developed, he provided a way for all people to activate it within their own lives and experience the joy that comes from being able to liberate oneself from suffering at the most fundamental level. Shakyamuni , the founder of Buddhism, who lived some 2,500 years ago in India, first awoke to this law out of a compassionate yearning to find the means to enable all people to be free of the inevitable pains of life. It is because of this that he is known as Buddha, or Awakened One.  Discoveri...

Satyam Shivam Sundaram

सत्यम शिवम् सुन्दरम Satyam, the truth; shivam, the good, the divine;and sundaram, the beauty. Truth is the experience, shivam is the action that comes out of the experience, and beauty is the flowering of consciousness of the man who has experienced truth. Shiva is regarded as the patron god of yoga and arts . At the highest level, Shiva is regarded limitless, transcendent, unchanging and formless. Iconographic attributes of Shiva are the third eye on his forehead, the snake Vasuki around his neck, the crescent moon adorning, the holy river Ganga flowing from his matted hair, the trishula as his weapon and the damaru as his instrument. Shiva is usually worshiped in the aniconic form of Lingam aka Shivlinga Mahashivarathri , "the Great Night of Shiva" is the most significant event in India's spiritual calendar. The festival which is in veneration of Lord Shiva, marks the day when the supreme lord married Maa Parvati and together the form of Ardhan...
